Definition of insanity

The barest definition of insanity is the doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. God has had to beat it into me that no matter how many times I try to do something my way, it’ll amount to nothing be it the first or the eighth time if it’s not something that lines up with His plan. Looking at it from the standpoint of a typical human, you may want to complete the most trivial of tasks, but you can tackle it head-on time and time again without making any progress. The first thing you should do is pray about, and the next thing you need to do is change your strategy. You can’t expect something to change through outside variables with no internal adjustments.

Every day brings something different, but if you don’t adjust your outlook and actions, you will find yourself going through the same pattern and motions. When you look at bodies of water, the ones that are safest to drink from are the ones that are moving. Stagnation breeds death and decay. Life doesn’t bloom up in the lack of motion, and you can accomplish nothing while you allow history to run in its vicious cycle. Take the initiative, make changes, and pull yourself out of your insanity. You can’t expect to succeed when you don’t try new things. Change may not be the most comfortable thing we have to experience, but it is one of the most necessary things that we as humans go through, a change in routine can make the difference between success and failure.
