People are great

“People are Great!” . . . Think about that. Good people don’t sell magazines and papers. All that magazines and newspapers peddle is sadness, tragedy, and negativity. Think about planes for a second, people go up in the air all the time, but what you hear about is when the planes go down, but it still remains the safest way to travel. Think about this for a second: man created airplanes, they created ways to travel into space, landing on the moon, and eventually creating the space station. It’s truly incredible when you think about the amount of ingenuity and innovation that went in to these inventions.

With the Winter Olympics going on, it’s breathtaking to watch people complete these incredible feats and exhibit such skill. When you realize that the Olympics are a global initiative that began centuries ago, it only makes it that much more unbelievable to grasp. Looking at the way humanity has shaped such wonders over the ages truly leaves you marveling at God’s creation. You’d think in the 24-hour news cycle, someone would talk about the incredible things people do each day, even the small things. We get so caught up in the current tensions going on in the political and social battlefields. If we just took a moment to appreciate and wonders at the designs, accomplishments, and good deeds out there in the world. The next time you get frustrated with someone who just cut you off or gave you a rude gesture, remember that 99% of the population are trying to be good people.
